Applies to

  • Cisco 3132Q-V Cluster Network Switch
  • NX-OS 9.3(9)
  • ONTAP 9
  • Metrocluster-IP

Issue

  • During upgrade of the Cisco NX-OS on a Cisco 3132Q-V cluster switch the LACP feature disappeared.  After the switch was reloaded the port-channels were down and showed Protocol NONE.
  • Attempting to enable 'feature lacp' on the switch failed and no lacp commands were available in the command list.
  • Check of the .bin file on the bootflash showed that the os.bin image was not the correct size compared to the source file on the ftp server.
