Cluster Switch not monitored due to IP address not reachable

Issue

  • Node reports a health alert stating cluster switch IP address not being reachable.

        Acknowledge: false
     Probable Cause: Ethernet switch "cluster-sw1" with IP address
                     "10.1.1.X" is not reachable via SNMP. Incorrect
                     SNMP community string might be configured on the
                     Ethernet switch.

  • The cluster switch is not under monitoring by the Cluster Switch Health Monitor (CSHM):
