Node reboot for no disks attached after TPM FW upgrade during MB replacement

Issue

  • When replacing a motherboard, the node was booted into ONTAP and CFO giveback was performed in order to update TPM firmware to 5.63 as in How to upgrade TPM firmware
  • After updating the TPM firmware to 5.63 using this process, the node cannot boot to ONTAP
  • Node is in a boot loop for no disks attached, while the disks are attached and visible
