Issue

  • After installing Microsoft Patches KB5020615 and/or KB5021655 (Windows Server 2019) or kb5021654 (Windows Server 2016), users can no longer access shares on 7-mode system
  • cifs domainfo command shows no DC's connected to vfiler with status PDCBROKEN
  • "msDS-SupportedEncryptionTypes" value set to RC4 for computer account.
  • Messages logs:

Mon Dec  5 19:17:53 EET [vfiler1@node1:cifs.server.errorMsg:error]: CIFS: Error for server \\DC1: CIFS Session Setup Error No Trusted Logon Servers Available - STATUS_NO_LOGON_SERVERS.
