Takeover not possible: both nodes in HA pair not joined to cluster

Issue

  • Given a two-node cluster. Then, join a third node.
  • Third node indicates:

::*> storage failover show
Takeover
Node           Partner        Possible State Description

node-01        node-02        true     Connected to fas2552-rtp-11b
node-02        node-01        true     Connected to fas2552-rtp-11a
node-03           -           false    Connected to localhost. Waiting for
cluster applications to come online
on the local node.
Offline applications: scsi blade.
Takeover is not possible:
Storage failover is disabled.
