Description

A singlemode (also referred to as single-mode and "single mode") interface group (IFGRP) is not recommended within ONTAP because of the limited functionality it provides and the use of broadcast domains to accomplish the same results as explained in Technical Report 4182.  The goal of this KB is to assist with migrating away from a singlemode interface group while allowing continuous access to LIFs.
