Cannot remove node from a Cluster, error node is not online

Issue

  • When trying to remove a node from a cluster the node cannot unjoin due to volumes not deleted from the node. 
  • When attempting to delete the volumes you get an error that the node is not online although the node is booted.
cluster1::*> cluster remove-node -node cluster1-01

Warning: This command will remove node "cluster1-01" from the cluster. You must remove the failover partner as well. After the node is successfully removed, erase its configuration and
         initialize all disks by using the "Clean configuration and initialize all disks (4)" option from the boot menu.
