  • Yes, it is possible to remove one or more ciphers presented by the ssh server present in Ontap
  • Further information can be found in the Ontap 9 Documentation center

Additional Information

  • An ssh server will provide a list of supported ciphers during initial protocol negotiation
  • The client will have, as well, a list of internally supported ciphers
  • If there is no common cipher present in both lists then access will fail with error "no matching cipher found"
