Node and cluster UI are unavailable due to element-auth issue

  • NetApp storage cluster running Element Software on one of these versions:
    • 11.3

Issue

  • User is unable to access per-node or cluster UI after adding new / replacement node to the cluster or after cluster power off/on for maintenance.
  • The sf-element-auth.info file shows that element auth is not in a ready state

element-auth[20976]: plugin_base.Exceptions.ServiceUnavailableException: The Element API command returned an API server error: Change API constant to be at least 20846 bytes
