Issue

  • Executing network test-path command from ONTAP 9.7 to ONTAP 9.8 fails:

::> set advanced
::*>  network test-path -source-node cluster1-01 -destination-cluster cluster2 -destination-node cluster2-01 -session-type AsyncMirrorRemote

Warning: This operation will generate large amount of cluster traffic and can cause temporary cluster traffic slowness.

Initiating path test. It can take up to 15 seconds for results to be displayed.

Error: command failed: Unable to create test session: Setting session configuration for node 1e12730d-d5be-11eb-91f8-005056a07bab failed with error: "cg-mapping-low" is a required field.
  • Command is run between clusters with different versions of ONTAP
