Answer

1. SnapMirror relationships should be quiesced prior to upgrading
2. Plan to upgrade to supported ONTAP versions between the source and destination as advised by SnapMirror DR Interoperability
   • NOTE: If the destination is running a later/newer version the relationship cannot be reversed
3. It is generally recommended to upgrade the destination first, as you cannot replicate higher (ONTAP version) source to lower destination
