How does SnapMirror throttle work?

SnapMirror throttle does not pass data at the specified rate. The SnapMirror throttle setting is used to throttle network bandwidth consumed, by comparing disk I/O and CPU usage.
In practice, the throughput rate will be less than the rate specified in the SnapMirror throttle option. If you wish to precisely control throughput, gradually increase this setting until the desired rate is reached.

Note: The SnapMirror throttle option does not affect or apply to synchronous SnapMirror.
