Answer

  • SnapMirror throttle does not pass data at the specified rate.
    • The SnapMirror throttle setting is used to throttle network bandwidth consumed, by comparing disk I/O and CPU usage.
  • In practice, the throughput rate will be less than the rate specified in the SnapMirror throttle option.
    • If you wish to precisely control throughput, gradually increase this setting until the desired rate is reached.
      • Note: The SnapMirror throttle option does not affect or apply to synchronous SnapMirror.
