How to configure NLB and ARR with SnapCenter
Applies to
SnapCenter Server
Description
This article describes how to configure Network Load Balancing (NLB) and Application Request Routing (ARR) with SnapCenter.
SnapCenter 4.1.1 or earlier supported configuring of NLB and ARR while installing SnapCenter. However, from SnapCenter 4.2, you should manually configure NLB and ARR outside of SnapCenter installation for high availability (HA).
SnapCenter supports only 2-nodes NLB configuration. The node where you are installing the SnapCenter Server first is considered as the node1 and the other node is considered as node2. During SnapCenter operations, internally the master node is interchanged based on the need.
Note: If you already installed SnapCenter Server and plug-in, you cannot configure NLB and ARR manually. Perform a fresh installation of SnapCenter 4.2 and then manually configure NLB and ARR.
