After upgrade of SnapCenter to 4.1.1P3 or higher, the Oracle Plug-in may fail at discovering Oracle databases

• SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle
• Linux Host with Oracle 11r, 12c, possibly 18c

Issue

After upgrading the SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle to 4.1.1P3, 4.1.1P4, or 4.2, one of the following can occur, preventing the databases from being discovered again:

1. Discovery failed for object ORCRL with error PL-SCO-20006: Discovery of database files failed for database ORCL on host rhel.demo.netapp.com with error
PLAT-00040: Unable to determine permissions for file /oracle/12.1.0/grid/bin/dbhome. Error: No such file or directory..
2. c.n.o.c.p.UnixOraclePlatform - Database instances discovered from oratab: [oracleHome: /ora01/app/oracle12c/product/12c/db_1, identifier: techdb3, startOnBoot: false]
c.n.o.c.p.UnixOraclePlatform - Updating database details cache with key techdb3 and value /ora01/app/oracle12c/product/12c01/db_1
