Event Summary

  • NoISLPresentAlert - AutoSupport messages are triggered when ONTAP Fabric Health monitor can not determine the that the Inter Switch Links (ISL) in one Fabric are online any more.

            Probable Cause: Out_of_service
Probable Cause Description: All Inter-Switch Links (ISLs) links on $(fhm_switch_errors.switch-component-name) are down.
           Possible Effect: Back-end fabric might lose ISL redundancy.
        Corrective Actions: 1) Repair the back-end fabric ISLs on $(fhm_switch_errors.switch-component-name).
                            2) Ensure that the partner switch of $(fhm_switch_errors.switch-component-name) is up and that its ISLs are operational.
                            3) Ensure that intermediate equipment, such as xWDM devices, are operational.
