Issue

  • Cisco 3132Q switch rebooting constantly
  • Switch does not stay online long enough to log in
  • Different NX-OS versions do not help
  • Following messages are observed ion the console:

 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %SYSMGR-SLOT1-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "bcm_usd" (PID 12966) hasn't caught signal 11 (core will be saved).
 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %SYSMGR-SLOT1-2-HAP_FAILURE_SUP_RESET: Service "bcm_usd" in vdc 1 has had a hap failure
