Issue

  • OnCommand Insight Data Warehouse does not install due to local group policy (GPO) settings.
  • In Windows Event Viewer there are event 1000 errors.

  • Manually trying to start IBM Cognos produces this error: Content Manager failed to connect to the content store ... Connection authorization failure occured. Reason: Authentication failed because of connectivity restrictions enforced by the security plug-in. ERRORCODE=-4214, SQLSTATE=28000
