  • ONTAP 9.x
  • ONTAP System Manager 9.x

Description

  • When making changes on group/user authentication, for example moving a user from one group to another, the change is not immediately effective in System Manager and ONTAP.
  • The reason is that the user credentials are cached, in the so called groupauth.cache for a default of 30 mins period.
  • This article describes how you can workaround this according to your needs.
