Description

How to generate and install a CA signed certificate into Active IQ Unified Manager

  • Requirements
    • The signed certificate must be in .pem format
      • Renaming from .cer to .pem will not work
    • The certificate chain must include the server certifricate, one or more intermediate certificates and the root certficiate
    • The certificate chain must be in server, intermediate, root order from top to bottom
    • Generating a CSR remotely is supported starting in AIQUM 9.9RC1 and later
  • Common errors

Failed to install certificate: A valid full certificate chain from the host certificate to the Certificate Authority's certificate must be provided.

Failed to install certificate: Input certificate's public key differs from the existing certificate's public key. The keys must match
