Use Trident import volume fail

Issue

  • Customer use command tridentctl import volume try to import pre-exist trident volume to new K8s cluster but failed with below error.
Example:

[trident-installer]$ ./tridentctl -n storage import volume trident-backend trident_pvc_xxxx -f pvc.yaml

Error: Post "http://127.0.0.1:8000/trident/v1/volume/import": EOF command terminated with exit code 1

  •  The following error message is displayed on the trident log.

Example:

time="2021-01-21T23:56:47Z" level=error msg="error waiting for PV pvc-yyyyyyy pvc-zzzzzzzz was not in cache after 180.00 seconds" handler=ImportVolume requestID=aaaaaa-bbbbb-cccc requestSource=REST
