  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

Answer

  • Using Cloud Manager is the recommended way to delete the instances.
  • This ensures a clean removal of the CVO CloudFormation stack, any artifacts, and security groups used to create the working environment in AWS without the user having to manually find these resources on their own to remove.
  • Note: Deleting a CVO instance from Cloud Manager also releases the CVO license properly so it can be used with other instances.
