Brocade switch port down

Issue

  • An AutoSupport is received stating that a switch port is down.
  • switchshow output shows the port in No_Sync state:

  • sfpshow output shows the SFP in the affected port has low RX value:
RX Power:    -4.9    dBm (324.9uW)
TX Power:    -2.7    dBm (534.0 uW)
  • The cluster node port connected to the switch port shows as down in sysconfig -a:

slot 10: FC Host Adapter 10c (QLogic 8324 rev. 2, N-port, <OFFLINE (hard)>)
