Why is my SnapMirror relationship showing as 'unhealthy'

Answer

  • As long as a SnapMirror 'initialize' is running the relationship will show 'unhealthy', it will be in a 'healthy' state as soon as this initial transfer is completed successfully
  • The SnapMirror relationships will also report an 'unhealthy' status when scheduled SnapMirror update fails to start
  • For more information on the unhealthy reason: 

DST::> snapmirror show -destination-path SVM:vol1 -fields unhealthy-reason, last-transfer-error
