Unable to rehost a volume located within svm-dr source vserver

Issue

  • When attempting to rehost a volume residing on the source vserver of an svm-dr relationship, an error is received:
cluster::> volume rehost -vserver SVM1 -volume VOLUME1 -destination-vserver SVM2
Error: command failed: Cannot rehost volume "VOLUME1" on Vserver "SVM1" to destination "SVM2" because the Vserver "SVM1" is in a DR relationship
