  • Cluster Data ONTAP 8.3 or higher

Issue

  • snapmirror connectivity is unreliable and frequently disconnects with errors:
    CSM: An operation did not complete within the specified timeout window
  • The intercluster peering traverses a network link with high packet loss and latency, outside of minimum requirements per TR-4015 SnapMirror Best Practice page 51.
  • It has been confirmed that there is no feasible way to improve network quality to meet the minimum requirements
