Snapmirror Destination volume space usage is greater than Source volume

Issue
- When viewing space usage in a SnapMirror relationship with SnapMirror policy
MirrorAllSnapshots
, destination volume shows higher disk usage than source volume. - SnapMirror transfer is using
"Logical Transfer"(LRE)
to transfer.- To check if the Snapmirror is using
"Logical Transfer with Storage Efficiency" or "Logical Transfer" (LRE)
to transfer, access the SnapMirror Audit logs located in/etc/log/snapmirror_audit
on the controller node which hosts the SnapMirror destination volume. - At the end of a successful transfer, these logs will indicate either
"Logical Transfer with Storage Efficiency"
deduplication storage efficiency savings are maintained or"Logical Transfer"
deduplication storage efficiency savings are lost.
