Description

  • SMS and SMBC periodically create a common Snapshot copy on both the primary and the secondary storage systems.
  • This Snapshot copy is used to resynchronize the relationship if it fell out of sync.
  • SMS creates a common Snapshot copy by default every 6 hours
  • Ontap 9.8 SMBC creates a common Snapshot copy by default every hour
  • Ontap 9.9 SMBC creates a common Snapshot copy by default every 12 hours
