Issue

  • Copying volume from one cluster to another cluster using NDMPcopy fails with error message "Ndmpcopy: Connection setup for transfer failed".

  • Ensure the preferred_interface_role option was configured to utilize a LIF role type that can successfully communicate with the secondary storage device's IP address provided by the backup application.
  • Verify on LIFs are up and working on both sites.
