Default storage efficiency (deduplication) policy not working with daily time schedule

  • Clustered Data ONTAP 8.3
  •  ONTAP 9+
  •  Volumes using the default volume efficiency policy

Issue

  • Check Active IQ if this impacts your systems
  • The default volume efficiency policy does not run with the automatically created daily schedule that should run at 12:10 A.M.
  • There is no logging that shows the volume efficiency jobs starting. No errors are logged.
