XCP copy command misses files when fileIDs are identical but the files are different

Issue

  • NetApp XCP will notice matching fileIDs on systems where 64bit fileIDs are not enabled or allowed
  • Only the first of the matches will be copied and the other matching fileIDs will not be copied to the destination volume
