Issue

  • VMware host is seeing constant lost and failed connections to iSCSI and NFS in vobd.log:
    • iSCSI failed network connections
      • [iscsiCorrelator] 164521086817us: [esx.problem.storage.iscsi.target.connect.error] Login to iSCSI target iqn.1992-08.com.netapp:sn.5345d1a3e21211eaa85ed03XXXXXXXXX.6 on vmhba64 @ vmk5 failed. The iSCSI initiator could not establish a network connection to the target.
      • [iscsiCorrelator] 164504477091us: [vob.iscsi.target.connect.error] vmhba64 @ vmk6 failed to login to iqn.1992-08.com.netapp:sn.5345d1a3e21211eaa85ed03XXXXXXXXX.6 because of a network connection failure.
    • NFS lost network connections
      • [vmfsCorrelator] 218326825824us: [vob.vmfs.nfs.server.disconnect] Lost connection to the server XXX.XXX.XXX.25 mount point /Netapp_NFS, mounted as bfdbebdd-c5d28716-0000-000000000000 ("Netapp_NFS")
