Issue

  • Cannot delete an ONTAP S3 bucket
  • When attempting to, the following error is encountered:

::> vserver object-store-server bucket delete -vserver svm_name -bucket bucket_name

Error: command failed: [Job 122058] Job failed: Cannot delete bucket "bucket_name" on Vserver "svm_name" because it is not empty. Delete the objects, and then try the operation again. For further assistance, contact technical support. , Object store bucket policy statements are deleted during the failure of bucket deletion job for bucket "bucket_name" on Vserver "svm_name".
