  • ONTAP maps Windows user to pcuser instead of the appropriate UNIX user
cluster::*> secd name-mapping show -node node1 -vserver svm01 -direction win-unix -name user1
ATTENTION: Mapping of Data ONTAP "admin" users to UNIX user "root" is enabled, but the following information does not reflect this mapping.
'user1' maps to 'pcuser'
  • Name mapping is configured in LDAP to map windows user user1 to unix user 5000
