Issue

  • Network port becomes unusable due to an unsupported SFP+ or QSFP+ module being installed.
    • Sun Aug 16 01:10:12 UTC [cluster-01: intr: netif.sfpNotSupported:error]: The SFP+ or QSFP+ module (FINISAR CORP.    FTLX8571D3BCL   ) installed in e1a is not supported with this network interface.
    • Dec 10 17:13:49 [cluster-01:netif.sfpNotSupported:error]: The SFP+ or QSFP+ module (AVAGO AFBR-57F5MZ-NA1 ) installed in e0c is not supported with this network interface.
  • The SFP parts number and serial number might not seen in SYSCONFIG -A:
    • slot 3: Dual 100G Ethernet Controller IONIC
              e3a MAC Address:    00:xx:xx:xx:xx:28 (auto-unknown-down)
