Latency increase using Dell Quest Change Auditor Fpolicy server after ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • After upgrade, ONTAP users are faced with increased latency in situations where Dell Quest Change Auditor is the Fpolicy server due to Fpolicy requests failing.
  • Errors are also observed in EMS log:
fpolicy: fpolicy.server.connect:notice]: Control channel with the FPolicy server "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" of policy "policy1" is established for Vserver SVM1.
fpolicy: fpolicy.server.disconnect:error]: Connection to the FPolicy server "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" of policy "policy1" is broken for Vserver SVM1 ( reason: "FPolicy server is removed from external engine." ).
