ISL Authentication Rejected

Issue

The ISLs would not come up and the following messages are logged in by the switches:
2023/01/20-09:14:22 (UTC), [AUTH-1037], 22747, FID 128 | PORT 0/40, ERROR, sansw, Failed to verify response for DHCHAP reply paload: init_len 32, resp_len 32, port 40.
2023/01/20-09:14:22 (UTC), [AUTH-1042], 22748, FID 128 | PORT 0/40, ERROR, sansw, Port 40 has been disabled, because authentication failed with code 'Authentication Failure' and explanation 'Authentication Failed'.
2023/01/20-09:14:23 (UTC), [AUTH-1037], 22749, FID 128 | PORT 0/41, ERROR, sansw, Failed to verify response for DHCHAP reply paload: init_len 32, resp_len 32, port 41.
2023/01/20-09:14:23 (UTC), [AUTH-1042], 22750, FID 128 | PORT 0/41, ERROR, sansw, Port 41 has been disabled, because authentication failed with code 'Authentication Failure' and explanation 'Authentication Failed'.
