Why does aggregate utilisation increase whilst in Switchover?

Answer

  • The aggregate snapshots are not rotating quickly due to the remote plexes being offline
  • This results in a larger aggregate snapshot
  • When the plexes are back in sync, the aggregate utilisation will return to normal
