Issue

  • Unexpected switchover occured during a maintenance
  • switchover operation show displays:

ClusterA::> metrocluster operation show
       Operation: metrocluster switchover -forced-on-disaster true

  • Service processor event log shows the follwoing reason for the node shutdown:

    HALT: Forced shutdown request received from the DR partner on Sun Mar 7 05:34:34 CET 2023

  • TieBreaker logs show:

    00:34:24,676 WARN  [Thread-1] [MCCMonitor:metro-cluster-ip] Disaster confirmed.
    00:34:24,676 WARN  [Thread-1] [MCCMonitor:metro-cluster-ip] MCCTB triggerring DR switchover.
