Unexpected high network throughput spikes in MetroCluster environment

Issue

  • Customers observe sudden, irregular spikes in network throughput—up to 500MB/s—on MetroCluster nodes, often outside normal business hours.
  • Monitoring tools (AIQUM) report these bursts, which appear unrelated to user activity.
  • iperf3 runs corresponding to these times in messages logs.
