Risk Summary

  • SyncMirror resync might be running slow after a SyncMirror plex failure or when initializing a SyncMirror relationship.
  • As a best practice, NetApp recommends setting this option to 4 on AFF/ASA platforms for releases higher than ONTAP 9.5.
  • Starting ONTAP 9.11.1 SyncMirror resync speed is set to a default value of 4 compared to a earlier setting of 1.
