One drive has missing path bypassed by the IOM
Applies to
- "System has transitioned to a mixture of single path, multi-path and/or quad-path attached storage" reported
- "DISK REDUNDANCY FAILED" reported
Issue
- Disk is missing over 1 path
cluster::> storage show disk -fields initiator

- Disk has less than the expected number of SAS paths1 (HA pair cabled for Multipath-HA shown below):
cluster::*> storage disk show -fields model,path-count -path-count !4
disk model path-count -------- ---------------- ---------- 1.30.22 X357_S16433T8ATE 2
NOTE1: For single-node (non-HA) systems with external disk shelves, systems with internal-only disk (for example AFF A200 or FAS2700), or systems cabled for Single-path only, change the path count to !2. Likewise for quad-path cabled systems (IOM12 only) change the path count to !8.
- Disk has a missing path (nodeshell):
cluster::> node run -node * storage show disk -p 2 entries were acted on.
Node: cluster-n01
