Node doesn't boot due to a faulty T6 card

Applies to

  • MetroCluster IP
  • ONTAP 9
  • X1146A Ethernet card
  • FAS8200

Issue

  • Node can't boot properly
  • If booted to maintenance mode, sysconfig -a does not show the card in Slot 1
  • No light is showing on the X1146A Ethernet card card in Slot 1 
  • Console output (SP/BMC) logs show the boot process stops at: 
    Waiting for reservations to clear
