Metrocluster switchback fails with - Error: You do not have a valid license for "FCP"

Issue

  • A metrocluster switchback fails due to the degraded vserver state.
  • An error message similar to the below is observed in the 'metrocluster vserver show' output from the down site.
                              Cluster  : ClusterA
                              Vserver  : SVM1
                      Partner Vserver  : SVM1-mc
                  Configuration State  : degraded
                        Stream Status  : operation-failed
                    Corrective Action  : Need manual intervention to replicate configuration. Check EMS log and follow the
                                         corrective action.
                            Failed Row : Table Name: fcp, Operation: get, Fields: svm_mc1b_tst01 20:12:00:a0:98:5e:aa:30 up                                           - - 6d97f519-9cb3-11e4-9630-90e2ba6000d4 4eaf21ae-9cb3-11e4-9630-90e2ba6000d4 - -
                         Failed Reason : Unrecoverable error during configuration replication, requires manual
                                         intervention.Error: You do not have a valid license for "FCP".Reason: Package
                                         "FCP" is not licensed in the cluster.
