Metrocluster configure fails during an expansion procedure

Issue

  • metrocluster configure returns an error during MetroCluster IP expansion procedure:
Wed Apr 23 2026 22:29:58 +02:00 metrocluster configure -node-name node_A1 :: Error: [Job 125267] Job failed: Configure command failed on node "node_A1" in the local cluster. Reason: (Unable to find an HA partner via RDMA Interconnect.). Check the hardware for errors and make sure all remote nodes are online, then try the command again with "-refresh true". Use the "metrocluster operation show" command to view detailed error information. Resolve the errors, then try the command again. 
  • sysconfig -a output from the new controllers doesn't show the partner-sysid correctly:
