Issue

  • System in a fix version for defect CONTAP-62147 encountered the same symptoms.
  • MetroCluster switchback operation fails.
  • Error is observed during metrocluster operation show or metrocluster switchback-simulate:

Errors: Failed to setup the node and cluster components for the switchback operation.clusterA(fatal): A stream operation timed out. Error: Failed to sync configuration on cluster "clusterB". Error on "receiver" stream: (ReceiverThread failed to process baseline message on streamID. Error: duplicate entry).

  • MCC configuration replication resync is stuck (messaging on one site and failed on the other). metrocluster check show displays warnings for config-replication and clusters.
