MetroCluster node unresponsive after takeover on panic

Issue

  • After an unexpected takeover of one of the nodes, the partner node (the node initiating the takeover operation) becomes unresponsive via:
    • cluster/node management (SSH/HTTPS)
    • BMC/SP Console
    • Physical Console
  • If no Mediator Assisted Unplanned Switchover (MAUSO) occurs, this will result in a site outage
