MetroCluster Tiebreaker - Error writing to server

Issue

  • After applying updates to the RHEL host, MetroCluster Tiebreaker software will not start
  • The output of command monitor show -status shows the following:

NetApp MetroCluster Tiebreaker :> monitor show -status
MetroCluster: MCC-Cluster-1
    Disaster: false
    Monitor State: MCC Validation failed. Reason : Error writing to server and Error writing to server
    Observer Mode: false
    Silent Period: 5
    Override Vetoes: false

  • The following errors are repeatedly logged in the MetroCluster Tiebreaker log:

INFO  [Thread-2] [MCCDiscovery] Start MCC Discovery for host 10.1.1.2
INFO  [Thread-2] [MCCInfo] Invoking GET https://10.1.1.2/api/cluster/metrocl...urn_timeout=20
ERROR [Thread-2] [MCCDiscovery] Discover of cluster mcc-cluster-1 failed. Reason : Error writing to server.
INFO  [Thread-2] [MCCInfo] Invoking GET https://10.1.1.2/api/cluster/metrocl...urn_timeout=20
ERROR [Thread-2] [MCCDiscovery] Discover of cluster mcc-cluster-1 failed. Reason : Error writing to server.
ERROR [Thread-2] [MCCMonitor:MC1] MCC Validation failed. Reason : Error writing to server and Error writing to server. Will retry validation after 10000 milliseconds.
