Issue

  • After a successful switchover and switchback metrocluster switchover -simulate true fails with message:
Job failed: Failed to validate the node and cluster components before the switchover operation. Use the "metrocluster
operation show" command to view detailed error information. Resolve the errors, then try the command again.
  • metrocluster operation show output shows:
CL01::CL01-N01 (non-overridable veto): Cannot perform this operation while this node is in switched over
state, verify the node is in normal mode by running "metrocluster node show" and retry the operation
again
  • metrocluster switchback -simulate true fails with message:

Info: Switchback not needed. There are no aggregates or disks belonging to the DR partner cluster on the local cluster.

  • metrocluster node show output shows:
