LUN connectivity lost during upgrade of ONTAP to 9.9.1

Issue

  • After performing switchover/switchback during ONTAP upgrade LUN connectivity is lost.
  • On the sync-destination vserver, missing igroups and lun mappings are identified by running ONTAP CLI commands igroup show or lun show.
  • LUN connectivity is restored after the final switchback.
