InterclusterBrokenConnectionAlert due to intercluster port down issue

Issue

  • While checking the logs we found the following events in EMS logs:
[?]  Fri Jun 21 04:20:34 +0530 [Node-02: mgmt_port_link_status_poll: netif.linkDown:info]: Ethernet e0f: Link down, check cable.
[?]  Fri Jun 21 04:20:35 +0530 [Node-02: vifmgr: vifmgr.portdown:notice]: A link down event was received on node BFLNTAPCLA-02, port e0f.
 
[?]  Fri Jun 21 04:20:48 +0530 [Node-02: vifmgr: vifmgr.reach.noreach:notice]: Network port e0f on node Node-02 cannot reach its expected broadcast domain Default:Replication. No other broadcast domains appear to be reachable from this port.
 [?]  Fri Jun 21 04:20:48 +0530 [Node-02: vifmgr: vifmgr.reach.skipped:notice]: Network port e0f on node Node-02 was not scanned for reachability because it was administratively or operationally down at the time of the scan.
 [?]  Fri Jun 21 04:31:33 +0530 [Node-02: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.major:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process schm: InterclusterBrokenConnectionAlert[Node-01].
 
  • From switch logs we found Rx power is not getting detected:
